Cataract surgery

This procedure is utilised to correct a problem with the crystalline or the lens that exists in the human eye. This lens can sometimes become clouded by the interaction of certain drugs, by natural aging or by injury. When this happens, this surgery can remove and replace the damaged natural lens with an artificial one that is inserted in the eye.

Corneal transplant or grafting

In this procedure, the natural cornea of a person is replaced by that of a donor. The damaged cornea is removed from the patient and replaced with a cornea that was donated by a recently deceased patient.
